LOW TEMPERATURE COMBUSTION SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF UNDOPED AND SAMARIUM DOPED ZINC OXIDE NANOPARTICLES

Zinc oxide (ZnO) and samarium (Sm) doped ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesised by solution combustion approach using citric acid as fuel. The formation of hexagonal wurtzite structure pure Sm powder was prepared confirmed x-ray diffraction (XRD). formation, morphological elemental analysis analysed XRD, Raman spectra, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) xray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF). results indicated that the trivalent ions successfully in to lattice matrix. XRD images showed both NPs are highly crystalline, having structure.
